I think no matter what kind of blog you have, it's something a lot of people worry over. I don't consider myself a sex blogger or anything like that honestly. I worry about people finding me. I'm very careful to not post about the type of car I drive, where I work or any more specific details like that. I post about going out but I never give the names of the places I go or the areas they're in. I share a lot but I don't really share that much because a lot of what I share in terms of personal stuff is rather vague. Though, I still worry about not crossing a line.

I almost quite blogging a while back when I found out most of my family knew about my blog. Not only knew of it but several of them even read it on a semi-regular basis. I wasn't very comfortable with that honestly but now I just don't care. Though it does still effect what I post. I have a private blog that you have to be invited to that I post smut on.

I had several bloggers find me on my private facebook account because of something I accidentally posted. It was a picture that had my real name on a box I hadn't paid attention to in the shot. I took the picture down after only being up an hour but still, enough people saw it that some people searched for me on facebook and found me. I just try to be much more careful about what I share.

I think this is something all bloggers, moms or dads or sex bloggers or not have to deal with. I mean, I have a blog under my name (several, really) which I update on a frequent basis, yet there are still things everyone in my real life doesn't need to know. Although I've definitely been more careful with this blog (I actually purchased protection over my domain info), there are still ways. Granted, I don't have as much to "lose" as some folks, yet that fear still lingers. I admire those who can be open but the sad truth is, that's just not practical for everyone and I'm not the one who can change the world. =/
